It comes out of the oven at 4 pm and aroma is just amazing. I also tried the Yallingup one but found this much better due to generous use of figs. Even better with some butter. I wolfed down so much that had to skip dinner that evening. Look forward to next time I'd be down there to have it. Highly recommended.

Tucked away in an industrial estate, this humble no-frills bakery offers a small selection of hot-from-the-oven (depending on the time of day you arrive) loaves. A pile of timber is out the front to stoke the oven and the person who sells you the bread made the bread. Grab a loaf and head somewhere quiet with a knife and a block of butter. It's pure bliss.
